Bringing your existing forms

If you already collect data with forms — in another app, on paper, in a spreadsheet — you do not have to rebuild them by hand. Send us what you have, and we will build them in FormDragon for you, ready for you to check and publish.

That goes for forms from iFormBuilder, Formstack, GoCanvas, Device Magic, Fulcrum or any other tool, and for paper. iFormBuilder packages can also be imported directly; for everything else, we do the building.

How it works

1. Gather what describes your forms. An export from your current tool if it has one; otherwise the spreadsheet or document you designed the forms from. Even a photo of a paper form is a start. What to send us lists what helps most.
2. Send it to us at customer.service@firedragontech.com, with a note of anything the forms do that is not obvious from the structure — a calculation, a rule about who fills in which part, a list shared between forms.
3. We build the forms in your organisation as drafts, with field keys, options, sections, subforms and calculations in place.
4. You check them in the builder, adjust anything, and publish. Nothing is live until you publish it.

Doing it yourself

Everything above is also something you can do in the builder — every page under Building forms applies, and some platforms’ exports can be imported directly. The offer exists so that a stack of existing forms is never the reason a move waits.
